The charismatic beach town of Kovalam beckons to tourists visiting Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. The travel hub that is situated on the banks of the Arabian Sea is characterized by a spate of coconut trees. It gets its name from the signature coconut groves that loosely translate to mean Kovalam. Samudra beach is a secluded one that is mainly used by fishermen.
