Situated in the Karauli district of Rajasthan, the fortress of Ramathra sits high above the Daang plateau offering great views of the sunrise over the Kalisil Lake from the day beds perched atop the forts walls which are exceedingly comfortable for a lie-in. The owners, Ravi and Gitanjali have restored the 17th century bastion to house four spectacular suites that are swanky and six dynamic tents, which are intricately decorated with permanent en-suite bathrooms with continuous hot water supply.
